When the foliage begins to fade, cut out the dying or stained canes of the plant so that rot or illness does not set in.
Plant early flourishing annuals. For a spring flush of color, plant early flowering annuals. They enjoy cooler daytime temperatures, and perform well in areas where nights get quite cold. Utilise a raised bed for your vegetable garden. Employing a raised bed is a great way to control the soil that you are planting in. It may also act as a discouragement for some pests and wildlife. You can buy a raised bed that's already made, or just use some old lumber.

I have a garden, but it's becoming overgrown with grass as it has been too hot to go out and work. Lovely poem. I adore most any poetry that has to do with nature. Zinnia are amazing. I need to throw out a bunch of see this Autumn in an attempt to use the space the grass keeps growing in.
