Farmville Tree Guide
Farmville crops can be classified into three types: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops. This particular page deals just with trees. If you want to obtain further information about animals and regular crops, go to their individual articles.
The trees do not rot not like the seed crops which rot. A tree will mature when you plant it on your area. You don’t have to harvest it immediately, you can harvest whenever you want to. They are pleasing to the eye and are a good way to liven up your farm. Trees only receive a small income, making it one of the shortcomings of growing trees. A tree can be purchased for 400 coins, and you will just earn approximately 20-80 coins per harvest. You can patiently wait til you receive trees as free gifts from friends. Another option, you can request for a particular tree that is available through the free gift system by posting a sign post on your property.Furthermore bear in mind that trees take a couple of days to mature. You will not receive lots of coin just by planting trees.
When you're selecting your trees, take a moment to think through your Farmville goals. Maybe you only want to see if it is feasible to get lots of coins in a short time. If so, don't grow trees. If if your goal is earn lots of coins you can plant berries instead. However if you're going to use the trees as decors and you don't care if you are going to wait for a crop to ripen, trees are an excellent choice.
Farmers who do not play Farmville for extended periods of time and then come back to it (e.g. a couple days or weeks) will also love trees and animals. You can delay harvest of trees and animals—seed crops rot if you don’t harvest them immediately. Plan well and you'll never have to clear a field of rotten plants (terribly boring way to spend an evening)!
