Farmville Trees
Farmville crops can be grouped into three: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops. Trees will be the only topic discussed in this particular page. If you are more interested in reading more about animals and regular crops (plus ways to make many coins), head on over to another articl.
Trees are an ideal crop in that they do not rot the same as the seed crops do. A tree will grow up when you put it on your area. You don’t have to harvest the tree immediately, you can harvest at whatever time you feel like it. You can use the trees as decorations to personalize your farm. One downside of planting trees is that the farmer will only earn a little revenue from them. A tree can be purchased for 400 coins, and you will just make approximately 20-80 coins per harvest. You can simply wait until you get trees as free gifts from others. As an alternative, you can ask for a particular tree that is available through the free gift system by placing a sign post on your property. Also don’t forget that trees take a couple of days before they can be harvested. They are NOT a quick money maker.
Make sure that you consider your goals in Farmville when picking your trees. Are you playing this game to see just how many coins you can get in a very short time? Do not plant trees if that is your aim. If you want to earn earn a lot of coins you can plant berries instead. Then again if you don’t care if you are going to wait for a crop to ripen and if you're going to use them as decors, trees are a perfect choice.
You are going to like trees and animals if you are the type of player who does not play for extended periods of time and then come back to it. You can delay harvest of trees and animals—seed crops rot if you don’t harvest them immediately. If don’t want to delete a field of withered plants, plan well!
